Get crafty with us on July 18! Learn the basics of papermaking in this hands-on workshop led by artist Leslie K. Gray.
Using a mix of recycled materials and natural items, you will be able to create beautiful, unique, and functional sheets of your own paper. All materials are provided, including a paper-making frame set to take home.
All ages are welcome. Minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a wet workshop, so please wear appropriate clothing.
$35 members, $45 non-members. Registration required, please note that this workshop is sold out.
About Leslie K. Gray
Leslie K. Gray is an LA Native, visual artist and theater designer whose work has been seen at Descanso Gardens as shadow puppetry performances and large installations, notably last year’s “Wild Sighting” animal faces representing wildlife crossing through human occupied areas.
She co-directed “A Walk with Little Amal” for DeafWest Theatre in Pasadena and has multiple productions, exhibitions, and a children’s book to her credit.
