Experience the gardens in a whole new way through Cultivate, a monthly series that features tours, workshops, live demonstrations, and music throughout the gardens.
Our June programming will focus on the animals of Descanso – come learn about the creatures who call Descanso home!

Community Science
- Engage in community-driven research by exploring the gardens. Stop by the table to see this month’s Community Science challenge!

Ask an Expert: California Natives
- Meet a member of the Horticulture department and ask your gardening questions

Wildlife Walk and Talk
- Meet with Diego Blanco, a local birder and naturalist, on this walk to learn about the animals that call Descanso Gardens home

Citizens for L.A. Wildlife
- Meet with members of C.L.A.W and learn about living in a wildlife corridor. Learn about this organization’s role in protecting and restoring the environments of Los Angeles

- Learn about local wildlife, animal habitats and more with the Arroyos and Foothills Conservancy

Hands-on Craft
- Learn about animal tracks and create your own to take home!
