Minhwa Fan Painting Workshop

Join us for an art workshop focused on minhwa, the traditional Korean folk art on July 27. In this workshop, participants will paint minhwa designs on fans, guided by artists featured in our HWAJODO exhibition including Kee Soon Sung and the Korean Folk Art Association of Los Angeles.
Using distinctive minhwa decorative painting techniques, you’ll create your own unique fan and you’ll get to take your super cool project home.
This workshop is open to all skill levels, and is included in the cost of admission. Materials are thoughtfully provided by exhibit partner Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles.
