Learn Kokedama, the centuries-old Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered soil ball, with us on Thursday, August 15.
Led by Descanso gardener Jenny Flores, this crafting workshop will lead students in creating their own Kokedama houseplant to take home.
Meets in the Japanese Garden. All materials will be provided.
$30 for Descanso Gardens members, $35 for non-members. Please note that this class is sold out.
About Jenny Flores
Jenny Flores is a plant enthusiast and current Descanso Gardener. She majored in Ornamental Horticulture and has certificates in Landscape Design and Horticulture Science. Jenny primarily works in the Japanese Garden and creates the gravel designs in the rock garden.
