Nature and Fashion Workshop

Be inspired by the Daphne’s Wardrobe exhibition and the beauty in Descanso Gardens.
Instructor Justine Limpus Parish opens this 7 hour workshop with nature sketching in the gardens. Then, the group will return to the classroom to explore fashion sketching and create original designs inspired by the gardens.
Fashion and drawing beginners are welcome. This class is intended for ages 14 and up. There will be a 1 hour break. All art materials included with registration.
$70 members, $85 non-members. Advance registration required, registration opens to members on February 5 at 10am and to non-members at February 10 at 10am.

About Justine Limpus Parish
Justine Limpus Parish has worked extensively in the Los Angeles and San Francisco fashion industries as an illustrator, designer, educator, art director, and author. She is currently the Professor of Apparel Design and the Director of the Sewing Lab at ArtCenter College of Design.
